research

I am a research assistant in Prof. Austin Becker’s Lab, an interdisciplinary research group focused on enhancing climate resilience for the coastal-built environment, and my research seeks to improve understanding of the mechanisms that affect, and methods to assess the climate-resilience of seaports and other large scale, coast-dependent infrastructure systems. We are currently developing metrics of coastal infrastructure climate-risk to support climate impact, adaptation, and vulnerability (CIAV) decisions and to enhance the resilience of coastal ecological and socioeconomic systems.
